Automated storage system May 1st 2006 Mackwell Electronics has invested in Hanel's automated storage systems for its West Midlands' premises.
Requiring only a few square metres on which to operate, Hanel's systems bring goods to the user at the touch of a button and at an ergonomically positioned level.
This speeds stock retrieval time and boosts productivity.
Supplied by IAS Industore, the two Lean Lifts store goods on a vertical axis and are said to allow the highest possible density of storage.
At Mackwell Electronics, all stock held on the mezzanine and on traditional shelving was removed from the production area and relocated into the Lean-Lifts, freeing valuable floor space.
At each stage of the process, IAS was on hand to provide full training and technical support.
