Bags of space for luggage firm January 1st 2008 W. Brown International,
importer of bags and
luggage items, uses an
Aisle-Master
articulated forklift to
handle and store
increased stock in a
reduced storage area.
When the company
moved to new premises
in Rushden, James
Brown, MD, consulted
JST Lift trucks who
recommended the
articulated Aisle-Master.
Brown comments
"After seeing a demo of the
ingenious abilities of this truck, we
realised we could kit out the new
warehouse from the start
according to the Aisle-
Master's capabilities."
The company opted
for an electric powered
truck, but used an LPG
Aisle-Master to cover the
delivery period.
James Brown believes
that by replacing a reach
truck with the Aisle-
Master, 35% extra space
has been created. This
was achieved by cutting
aisle widths between
racking and taking racking
to the eaves height of 7m. More articles from Aisle-Master Ltd: |
