A battery-powered multi-direction Sidetracker lift truck is being used successfully by the maintenance team at Aberthaw power station in South Wales to handle a variety of components and materials.

The truck was chosen because it can handle all the different items on its own, works inside and outside the stores and allowed narrow aisle racking to be installed in the warehouse, increasing storage.

The SO30 supplied is compact, with a total width of 1490mm, allowing racking aisles to be 1500mm wide.

The truck is a three-wheel stand-on model. Dual drive wheels give high torque performance that enables it to easily negotiate a steep ramp when fully loaded. Two drive wheels give accurate steering.
