Dual-purpose reach truck
January 1st 2008 Linde has launched a dualpurpose
reach truck for operation
in both internal and external
applications.
The G range is the latest
addition to the company's ACtive
range, with residual capacities of
1.4, 1.6 and 2t. The truck has a
special drive unit suspension and
large tyres, enabling it to operate
effectively outside on uneven
surfaces, as well as storing and
retrieving loads in narrow aisle
warehouses.
Linde says that the suspension
unit has added a new dimension in
operator comfort, stability and
operational durability by isolating
vibrations during sustained high
speed operation. Load transfer is
smooth, reducing the vibration
impact and, therefore, whole body
vibrations.
Twin accelerator pedals provide
effortless forward and reverse
selection and with the powerful
output of the AC motor, the ACtive
range can deliver rapid
acceleration and a top speed of
12.5km/h. all of which can be
adjusted to suit a customer's
