Sidetracker Engineering has expanded its model range with the launch of a series of compact multipurpose multi-directional reach trucks designed for handling pallets and long-loads with maximum manoeuvrability. The new SBF model is available in electric or LPG versions with load capacities from 2.5 to six tonnes and a wide choice of mast heights. It can be fitted with small wheels for use on smooth surfaces or larger wheels and soft tyres for rougher conditions.

The truck is compact, which allows it to operate usually in aisles less than 1.8 metres wide. The multidirectional steering system enables it to travel sideways when carrying long loads or forwards like a conventional counterbalance truck, and it can also rotate on the spot to maximise manoeuvrability and minimise turning space. A forwardfacing seat allows drivers to mount and dismount easily in narrow aisles.
