Purpose built

Ellesmere Port is home to FC, a company that makes complicated chemical compounds for the PZ Cussons range of products. To handle its raw materials and finished product, it has opted for Sichelschmidt purpose-built flameproof forklifts.

FC bought its first M700 EEx Zone 1 machine from UK distributor Ability Handling in 2002. It proved so reliable and economical to run that the company now has two more.

Customised features include spotlights, beacons and stainless steel sample trays and controls.
