The Port of Tyne has improved cargo handling of non-palletised goods at its Tyne Dock since purchasing a Loron fork-mounted Push Pull from B&B Attachments

Previously, some products had to be hand-balled out of the container. Now, the forklift can be converted from standard forks to a Push Pull in a matter of moments

This was particularly useful to The Port of Tyne Authority as the forklift is primarily used for moving pallets but can be quickly changed over without removing the forks or swapping attachments

Keith Wilson, senior executive director, Port of Tyne, says “The Loron Push Pull is the ideal solution for reducing the handling of non-palletised loads. It provides optimum performance and maximum productivity when handling materials on slip sheets.
