Rapid reach trucks
January 1st 2008

Nissan's reach truck range now extends from 1.4 to 2.5t capacity, with three-stage masts lifting to 10.8m and tilting carriages to increase load safety.

The range is available in cold store, narrow aisle and three and four directional versions and, according to Nissan, the trucks have the fastest acceleration in their class.

Emphasis with the 1.4 to 2t UNS and USS (narrow aisle) models is on operator comfort to boost productivity. The driver's workplace has been designed to reduce unnecessary movement and strain.

Servo fingertip controls are used for pinpoint lifting and stacking accuracy and are operated with a gentle rearward movement. The mini steering wheel is also servoassisted and mounted on a 'floating' armrest.

To ensure a good view of the load at high lift heights, the seat's built-in tilt function responds directly to pressure from the operator to an angle of 15°.

Acceleration is 0 to 10km/h in 2.5sec, and all models are programmable.
