Systems to boost efficiency January 1st 2006 According to Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks global innovation and local action have been key to changes in the way it does business in the UK.
The changes have involved a switch from a distributor-based operation to one that puts dealers in direct communication with the parent company's European base in the Netherlands.
As a result, and due to the introduction of high-speed online systems, dealers are now able to order trucks, parts and finance directly.
Terry Foreman, general manager in the UK, says "By using the latest web-based technology, we have made our new systems extremely flexible and user-friendly."
The company has a hand-picked network of dealerships who provide a high level of customer service.
