Businesses can now easily monitor plant forklifts and other handling equipment for damage, from a pc in the office.

Available from Lamerholm Electronics the ShockSwitch RFID is the latest addition to the ShockSwitch range of impact-activated alarm and recording systems designed to reduce costs and increase plant safety.

The RFID unit transmits event data via a radio link between the forklift trucks and the accompanying server software. It can be programmed to instantly send event data as it is generated, or to delay sending until a specific number of events has accumulated.
