Tube storage
January 1st 2007

In an unequivocal statement of its commitment to the UK market, Samuk+HC will launch its new 'R' series and unveil extensions to its 'H' series at IMHX. More than 12 new counterbalance, reach, pallet and stacker trucks will be shown in public for the first time.

Sir Neville Bowman-Shaw, chairman, comments "For the first time, users will be able to select fork trucks in the popular 1.5 to 3.5t range according to their intended use and available budget.

Similar to the volume car manufacturers, our new trucks are based on a common floor pan with different levels of equipment. The user that needs high utilisation with long service intervals will choose our premium truck whereas the user that has more of a hopon/ hop off application will opt for a more cost effective, regular model.

IMHX stand 17P106 Tube storage Troax has custom-designed easyto- access storage facilities for Iron Mountain at its secure record storage centre In Coulsdon, Surrey.

The wire mesh enclosure provides high density storage for blueprints, architectural plans and similar rolled documents.

To provide easy access to the documents, which are contained within cardboard tubes and stored horizontally on racking, Troax worked with Rack Safe Solutions on a new design of storage system.

Troax made a series of wire mesh panels, each with a 100 by 100mm aperture to fit exactly into existing racking. Staff can insert and remove tubes easily; there is no need for panels or doors.
