Ample room to manoeuvre
May 1st 2008 Sichelschmidt has developed a
multi-directional forklift to assist
with the handling of long loads.
The M900 will operate in aisle
widths identical to the truck's
length, so is economical with
space. As the driver's seat is front
facing, the complete load is
constantly visible, for easier
manoeuvring and cornering.
Sensitive electronic steering
enables very exact handling of
loads and an elective steering
programme allows precise steering
when in sideways as well as
forward mode.
Sideways travel is activated at
the push of a button, and
hydraulic fork
positioners allow the
truck to handle long and
palletised loads.
The truck's 48V ASM
motor enables high
volume handling with
low energy
consumption.
The M900 is
available with
lift capacities
of 2, 2.5 and 3t, with reach heights
