Fleet flexibility
May 1st 2007

When communications business the Linney Group renewed its fleet contract, flexibility, affordability and service topped its list of criteria and, after a review of suppliers, it opted for Impact Toyota, a distributor of Toyota forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.

The order comprised a fleet of 17 vehicles, a mix of new Toyota 7FGF15 counterbalance, 7PML20 ride-on powered pallet trucks and 6FBRE electric reach truck, dual purpose articulated counterbalance equipment from the Toyota System II range, complete with a bespoke service agreement that met the group's particular requirements.

WJ Linney Group wanted a single source agreement to maximise purchasing power and streamline administration. Quarterly meetings are used to review agreed performance indicators.

The Toyota System II range are fully warranted, refurbished 'preowned' trucks that are said to offer the highest specification without compromising on reliability
