Forklift truck safety guide
July 1st 2007 Mentor has released the latest
version of its pocket guide to
Forklift Safety. Designed to update
qualified forklift truck operators and
their managers, this revised 144
page booklet aims to reinforce
basic training and provide a handy
reminder of the key safety points.
The edition includes new
sections on operating pivot steer
trucks, and procedures for stacking
and de-stacking alongside existing
information on truck maintenance,
safe driving, loading and
unloading, plus understanding
capacity, stability and other limits
for different types of sit-on and
pedestrian operated trucks. It also
summarises current law covering
