November 1st 2008 Lamerholm can now provide a full
package for total fleet
management. Comprising rugged
Glacier vehicle mounted computers
(VMC) and the newly-launched
FleetControl Manager, the new
system allows managers to utilise
the computers' processing, touch
screen and wireless
communications capabilities to
monitor the forklift fleet.
Using standard PC architecture,
multiple standard I/O and industry
standard wired and wireless
connectivity, the computers can
easily be fitted into existing
networks.
The system continuously
monitors and reports real-time data
regarding equipment safety,
utilisation, productivity, and
maintenance, delivering all vital
information for health and safety
compliance as well as reducing
damage related costs and ensuring
that fleets operate in the safest and
most productive manner.
