More to hire September 1st 2008 Barloworld Handling has
invested £6m in 340 new Hyster
forklifts for its short term hire fleet.
This is in addition to the £4m
spent in 2007 on replacements
and fleet range extensions.
The company operates a rental
fleet of around 2500 trucks and
reports a growing demand from
storage, logistics and freight
handling customers looking to
supplement their core fleets with
additional units at peak times.
The short term rental fleets
includes high capacity 7,12 and 18t
Hyster big trucks for heavy industry
and port operations. Its electric
warehouse equipment includes
pallet trucks, low level order
pickers and high level reach trucks.
The company also stocks
specialist equipment such as high
level order pickers, 4 way reach
trucks and ATEX compliant
