July 1st 2007 The 4-way technology incorporated
into Combilift forklift trucks has
enabled Atlas Caravans to cut the
number of trucks operating on site,
improve handling and storage
procedures and introduce better
health and safety practices.
Having seen Combilifts in
operation at Hull docks, the
management at Atlas Caravans
realised that the trucks' 4-way
ability would solve problems such
as how to get 5m lengths of timber
down a 3m alleyway.
After a successful trial, the
company invested in four 4t and
two 3t capacity diesel powered
Combilifts. Drivers are happy and
the company's health and safety
officer has been able to implement
