Logistics provider TransHaul has purchased its second Aisle-Master electric powered articulated forklift truck to work at a 50 000ft2 depot in Berkshire.

With more than 300 pallet movements per day, speed of operation was essential. As the Aisle-Masters work both inside and out, they can be used continuously to offload from incoming HGVs, take boxes and pallets directly to one of 7000 pallet locations and reload when necessary for dispatch.

This speeds procedures compared to the double handling necessary when using a combination of counterbalance and reach trucks. Space saving is a further benefit as the trucks can work in aisles widths of just 1.75m.
