Bridon Ropes has published a series of leaflets aimed at equipping distributors and users with an increased knowledge of rope and rope-related products. Available free of charge from the company, the guides come in a pocket-sized wallet with an accompanying notebook and fold out concertina-style to give at-a-glance product information. Topics covered are rope selection, rope lubricants, and breaking loads, and the guides include simple reference charts and check lists advising on the most appropriate products for specific applications. Bridon intends to produce a further seven titles to add to the series and has also introduced a range of posters featuring crane applications, and an interactive cd-rom catalogue.
