Showing the versatility of articulated lift trucks
January 1st 2004

The versatility of the Flexi Generation 3 articulated lift truck will be demonstrated by Narrow Aisle at IMHX 2004. The company claims that, in addition to the trucks ability to significantly increase storage density and warehouse efficiency, it can offer major savings over expensive alternatives, such as floor refurbishment, building costs and additional truck fleets. The Flexi looks like a counterbalance, yet also works in very narrow aisles. The company says that by cutting out the extra space a reach truck requires to turn into racking, an improvement in storage density of more than 30% is possible compared with a conventional reach truck. By doing the work of two trucks, the Flexi can help warehouse operators cut their handling costs by eliminating the need for extra trucks to load/unload lorries. The articulated design means it can operate in aisles of just 1800mm and lifts loads to 2000kg without any special floor requirements. It can also lift up to 11m. The truck is also available with ac drive. The ac version has an 80V system that makes higher power available, resulting in a travelling speed 11% faster than the Flexi Generation 3. The ac drive delivers an improvement in lifting speed of 65% on the standard Flexi Generation. Lowering operations are 25% quicker and acceleration rates are enhanced too. Stand number 17R30
