Monitors tilt/roll
May 1st 2008

The RD404 tilt and roll accelerometer is designed to add additional monitoring capabilities to Lamerholm's ShockLog range of event data recorders.

ShockLog helps companies reduce the cost of damage to goods, whether in production, transit or storage.

Now, with the RD404, companies are not just able to monitor impact and vibration, but tilt and sway, giving a complete picture of the physical environment that the product has endured in transit or in storage.

The RD404 connects directly to the RD298 ShockLog via an RS232 cable. It draws less than 1mA during operation and stores all data within the RD2998 memory. Graphs now show tilt and roll in degrees of movement.
