Wash plant for pads July 1st 2008 Returnable packaging company,
Loadhog, has installed a £500 000
state-of-the-art layer pad wash
plant in Sheffield. One of only four
in the UK, the plant does not use
detergents and can be used by
other transit packaging companies.
The plant is designed for the
hygienic cleaning of plastic layer
pads, used to transport palletstacked
products, most particularly
in the glass bottle industry.
Loadhog's wash plant conforms
to the British Retail Consortium's
Global Standard for Food
Packaging and employs the
Hazard Analysis Critical Control
Point Protocol. Plant personnel are
trained to control contamination and
carry out microbiological testing.
No pads are released until positive
results are confirmed. More articles from Loadhog Ltd: |
