A new warehouse management system, said to be the most userfriendly and intuitive yet, has been introduced by Synergy Logistics.

The system is designed to take advantage of the latest Windows operating system. The main control panel has been made clear and concise, with colour-coded links to all the main modules of the system.

Known as Locator Expert, it includes My Module where each user can store all the screens they need regularly, making navigation quick and simple and increasing productivity. The system can be customised so that each user can go straight to the most vital parts of the warehouse management system for them.

All main warehouse functions are covered by Locator Expert, including goods in, storage, retrieval, picking, load assembly and despatch. Users can be given only the modules that affect them.

Other modules include Asset Management, Dock Diary, Traceability and Production, which provides a link between warehouse and manufacturing operations.
