Labels Wood January 1st 2006 An automatic labeller for wood products has been introduced by Weber Marking Systems and dispenses UPC barcode labels and securely staples them onto the ends of timber.
The Weber FasTagger II uses compressed air to apply labels at a rate of more than 100/min. An operator simply places the handtool against the end of a piece of timber and pulls its trigger. The fasTagger II automatically staples a label to the wood, cuts it and then instantly feeds the next label into position.
The portable tool accepts four different label sizes; in widths of 17.5 or 22.2mm and lengths of 35 and 69.86mm. Label sizes can be changed in less than 10sec.
