RFID versions of Weber Marking Systems’ label applicators and printer-applicators and an entry level print-and-apply labeller will be shown on the Bluhm Systeme/ Weber stand at Interpack 2005 (21 to 27 April, Dusseldorf).

The Model 2600 Series label printer-applicator, for example, is a lightweight, in-line unit that delivers high quality label printing with simultaneous application for fast, consistent pressure sensitive labelling. It can print 203 or 300dpi text, barcodes and graphic images at 12in/sec.

For simple application of RFID labels, the Alpha RFID (pictured) applies smart labels up to 4.72in wide and 6in long at high speed, maintaining accuracy of ±0.04in.
