Prints durable tags November 1st 2004 There are some identification tasks where self-adhesive labels are not appropriate, yet goods still have to be securely labelled. Sato UK recommends a tag printing system using its M84pro label printing system and Label Gallery software.
Rolls of tough polyester tag material are printed and cut on the machine. Eyelets can then be added using a special punching tool. The finished tag is attached to the goods with plastic or metal attachments as required. Sato supplies the handheld equipment needed for this operation.
The M84pro prints barcodes, text and graphics at up to 24dots/mm. Sato says that no matter how small the label and the details printed on it, including tiny barcodes, it will still be legible.
High quality resin ribbons ensure high quality, scratch resistant print. More articles from Sato UK Limited: |
