Engine lift

A custom-designed scissor lift table from Edmolift is used at Bentley’s Crewe factory to handle engines for the company’s Bentley Continental GT.

Engines can be re-built and retuned in accordance with the owner’s instructions and after-build engine removal and re-fitting is commonplace.

Accurate positioning of the engine is essential and sensitive over-pressure valves have been installed in the TLD1000 scissor lift’s hydraulic system to prevent engine and vehicle chassis damage. The lift is fully mobile for easy engine transportation and is fitted with a specially adapted cradle to secure the large engine mass.
