Demag Cranes &
Components has received
a significant
order for
electric
chain hoists.
The order
for 124
hoists was
placed by
Chains and
Lifting Tackle
(Midlands), for a
client in the engineering
sector. All of the hoists
supplied are 1250Kg SWL
rated models from
Demag's DC-COM range.

Demag DC-COM range
has been developed to
combine competitive
pricing with simple
commissioning, ease of
operation and low
maintenance. The twospeed
hoists feature an
ergonomic
control pendant,
to be positioned at
a safe and
comfortable height
for the operator.
For ease of
maintenance, the
entire chain may
be replaced
without having to
remove the motor
or gear
components. In
addition, there is
direct and simple
access to all
main inspection
areas via a
central service
