Hoists for big bags
January 1st 2006

Load clash can occur at full lift height with the hoist unit chain box when handling big bags or larger awkwardly-shaped loads.

However, J D Neuhaus says such clashes can be avoided using one of its purpose-designed hoists.

Hoists with single or twin loadhooks can be provided, each covering 1000 or 2000kg lifting capacities, with both designs providing varying degrees of collision clearance. Air-powered, they are suitable for potentially explosive conditions.
