Intelligent AGV
September 1st 2009

Said to be among the first truly intelligent automated guided vehicle systems, iCart from ADM Automation provides a way of directly moving materials and goods that is free of operator involvement.

The company will be showcasing the product at the Logistics Link North exhibition.

Versatility and simplicity are key features of the iCart. It can pick and drop trolleys around stations totally automatically. A range of smart trolleys is also available.

Designed to work in most environments involving multi-point delivery and pick up applications, iCart is capable of pulling half a tonne, yet is only 1m long and the same width as a PC keyboard, allowing it to travel down narrow gangways in existing facilities.
