A free video has details of a fast acting, powered drum lifting and tipping system from STS. The STDRC01 sits sideways on to the vessel and the drum is loaded into the side of the unit using the company’s special side-shift depalletiser.

The drum aperture can be orientated using an inbuilt rotation system in the base of the cradle.

The drum clamp has a lever operated, self-locking mechanism.

All lifting and tipping controls are at the back of the unit. One lever lifts the drum and another operates the tipping ram. While one drum is decanting, the next can be prepared with the depalletiser.

The unit is 650mm wide and offers a tip angle of 110° and an SWL of 350kg.
