Manual handling of pallets is becoming an increasing concern in the workplace, and the presence of wood pallets in the clean zone is now quite unacceptable. Premier Pallet Systems has developed a transfer device which presents the recovered pallet at floor level for exchange and allied it to a range of pallet stacker/dispensers which accumulate them. The whole process takes place without any need to touch the pallet by hand.

The new Pallet Changer is a fully automatic system which grips the pallet before reclining the load.

The goods are held securely while the pallet returns to floor level to be swapped. Premier manufactures its own heavy-duty dispenser, the Premstacker, and also market the Danish-built Palomat in the UK.

Both these systems work on a raise and lower principle, stacking or depositing each pallet at floor level.
