Low level picker
May 1st 2007

Nissan has launched a heavy duty version of its PP series of low level order pickers.

With basic capacity of 2.5 tonnes, the new PPL and PPD models feature heavy-duty fork carriages, with load sensors providing automatic control of vehicle speed according to the weight carried. Features available for optimum productivity include an advanced steering system and the option of increased stability to override hazardous manoeuvres automatically. For maximum operational versatility, all models within the series will operate in temperatures from -35°C to +40°C.

The non-slip platform on the Nissan PP is 690mm x 430mm and features a free-floating vibration damping to reduce fatigue. Diagnostics built in to the truck computer enable rapid fault finding to reduce downtime.
