Overhead crane hoists launched
March 1st 2008 A new generation of mid-range
hoists (zero to 25t SWL) for the
engineering sector have been
launched by Street Crane
Company. The ZX6 and ZX8
Series are said to set new
standards for safety, reliability and
performance. They offer multiple
options on drum, gearing, controls
and other optional equipment.
Hoists are engineered for high
volume production, but can be
adapted to meet individual needs.
They have 30% fewer components
than their predecessors, are
quicker to build and offer users
reliability and value.
They feature hardened
precision ground gears that are
immersed in oil within a machined
gearbox case. Units have open
plan design for easy access to
components and to promote
cooling. They are also designed to
minimise height and overall
dimensions so that they occupy
only the minimum space, making
them suitable for modern, low-rise
