Roll handling role
March 1st 2007 Southworth Handling offers a wide range of equipment to handle rolls of material up to a maximum load of 350kg. Newton mini stackers are available with roll handling attachments in capacities to 250kg maximum load. Products range from simple mandrel shafts lifting rolls using the core and vee block supports mounted on a turntable to allow operators to rotate the roll for machine loading. There is also a range of roll turner attachments for rolls to 200kg. Manuvit adjustable width stackers are available with roll turner attach- ments for rolls to 350kg. The roll turner grips the core and external dia of the roll to prevent the load telescoping. Hover-Lift vacuum handling equipment can be adapted to handle a variety of rolls.
