September 1st 2007 Maintaining the operating efficiency
of its fleet of high speed trains is of
paramount importance to Eurostar
and it is helped in this by the
maintenance services division of
Morris Material Handling.
The division is responsible for
maintenance, servicing and repair
of Eurostar's overhead cranes and
40 simultaneous lifting jacks at its
train maintenance depot in London.
Morris Material Handling carries
out a detailed inspection of cranes
and jacks every three months. In
addition to routine inspection and
implementing a planned
programme of maintenance, the
Morris team remains on hand to
provide 24/7 cover should
