Vacuum head

AL-Vac UK has developed two new types of vacuum head for its Combat vacuum lifting machine.

The new heads have been specifically designed to handle crash barriers during their installation, a difficult and potentially hazardous operation.

The Combat may now be specified with a head to handle ‘S’- shaped crash barriers or square/box section barriers. Both have a 90° tilt mechanism which, at the touch of a level, allows the barrier sections to rotate smoothly under their own weight.

When compared to manual operations, the use of the vacuum head makes it easier for contractors to meet safety and handling regulations.
