Vacuum lifter
July 1st 2007 Al-Vac UK showed its range of
vacuum lifters designed to extend
the capabilities of pedestrain-
operated pallet trucks, at this
year's Total exhibition. Operating
off the host truck's battery power,
the standard vacuum lifter provides
a lifting capacity of 40kg, a lifting
height of 1500mm and an outreach
of 1500mm. This outreach is
achieved by virtue of two 750mm,
long arms that are hinged to
provide a full 360º rotation for
maximum versatility to handle a
number of applications.
A range of interchangeable lifting
heads are available to enable the
attachment to handle many different
kinds of loads such as packaging,
