Platforms take a turn

Southworth Handling has launched an all-new product for pallet handling. Custom Lift LP low profile scissor lift platforms are now available with an integral turntable – allowing pallets to be loaded by hand pallet truck via the standard loading ramp.

The new turntable is only 22mm high and the ramped edge off one side allows operators to load a standard pallet without any additional handling or need for a longer loading ramp.

Custom Lift LP has always been an easy product to install and use, arriving ready-to-use, and the new integral turntable is exactly the same, says the company. The machine arrives ready to wire in to an adjacent isolator. The first units have now been delivered to BRITA Manufacturing in Bicester as part of the company's manual handling improvements.
