Boosts safety

Caljan Rite-Hite has supplied soft drinks distributor, AC Georgiades, with a range of loading bay safety solutions, including a telescopic lip dock leveller, Dok Guardian and Global Wheel-Lok for its new warehouse in Morpeth.

The company operates four forklift trucks in its new warehouse, so safety is a top priority. It opted for a Model 9000 telescopic lip leveller which has a 500mm telescopic lip that extends onto the trailer bed, providing a smooth dock-to-trailer transition.

Hydraulically driven, it has a safety mechanism that prevents platform free-fall on an emergency.
