Pushing power
September 1st 2008

Deva Hawarden Board and Display, a paper and board converter and laminator to the packaging & display industry has taken delivery of a second Nu- Star Power Pusher for its manufacturing site in Flintshire.

The unit has been supplied on a five year hire contract.

Power Pushers push 1.5t paper rolls onto three sheeting machines and one laminator.

Paul Shepard, production manager, says "The first Nu-Star machine has operated problemfree for over 18 months and has been both a health and safety and productivity benefit in the plant. It has also proven popular with the staff so, we had no hesitation in choosing to contract hire another Power Pusher to service our recently acquired third sheeter." In addition to standard products, Nu-Star offers a bespoke design and build service after a free on-site consultation.
