Robust and versatile

Conveyor Systems has helped Wolf Systems improve efficiency when moving individual 1t pallet loads of boxed metal roofing nail plates by fork lift truck.

Pallets were of one-way quality and could be of various sizes to 1200mm2.

Therefore the roller conveyor had to be both robust and versatile in pitch.

The solution was to locate 12m of heavy duty powered roller conveyor in the manufacturing dispatch area, allowing the accumulation of six pallets on the inside of the building and to then pass them through a high speed roller shutter door. A single pallet is presented on a fixed 3m external section of conveyor, zinc plated for protection. The conveyor section also took into account different floor levels.
