Haulier gets its skates on September 1st 2004 The trailer fleet at Bill Chippington Haulage in St Albans has been equipped with Joloda handling systems to enhance efficiency in the distribution of paper and its associated products.
Joloda skates are placed in recessed tracks and rolled under the load. Skates and load are raised by pulling down the handles. This means the load (up to 3t), is ‘live’ and can be freely pushed the length of the trailer.
Skates include manual and automatic braking, self-centering and minimal maintenance as the system cleans itself.
It is said to allow loading at rates 33% faster than with the conventional method, and Bill Chippington believes the after-sales service to be second to none. More articles from Joloda International: |
