Tug takes the strain off plastic pipe producers
September 1st 2007 Plastic pipe systems and
solutions supplier Wavin has
alleviated health and safety
concerns for its workforce by
introducing a MasterTug at its
Chippenham site.
The machine, designed by
MasterMover, is used to
manoeuvre finished bundles of
pipe product from the end of
extrusion lines during the
manufacturing process.
Steve Hawkins, production
engineer, comments "The
MasterMover machine is a neat,
well made, compact unit and
strong enough for our demands.
This has taken the manual strain
off our operators."
The MasterTug unit has provided
Wavin Plastics with an effective
solution and addressed health and
