Easily tracked March 1st 2004 A plastic roll container has been developed as an alternative to the traditional metal cage.
The rollet Company says research shows that users of metal cages find them heavy, hazardous, unhygienic, noisy and costly, and says that statistics suggest an annual 20% leakage in the metal cage market, costing the materials handling industry 24m.
To combat this, the company has developed a product that can be tracked throughout the supply chain through the use of RFID.
This is expected to add to the appeal of the rollet together with its lightweight plastic construction, hygienic, crevice-free design, optional anti-bacterial impregnation and reduced noise emissions.
The moulded plastic rollet is strong and can be recycled. More articles from The Rollet Company Ltd: |
