January 1st 2005 A wire mesh storage system has been developed by Troax UK to ensure safe storage of aerosols and other flammable, volatile or potentially hazardous products in warehouses and distribution centres.
The system is constructed using wire mesh panels from the Broadsword range of industrial partitioning. The tight mesh size (25 by 25mm) ensures aerosol cans and other flammable products can be stored safely as it prevents the escape of shard in the event of an explosion, thereby containing any fire. The wire mesh design lets smoke and heat filter through the enclosure to trigger smoke detection systems and allows penetration of sprinklers.
Complete, four-sided enclosures can be built to any size either as a stand-alone structure or within pallet racking in the warehouse. More articles from Troax (UK) Limited: |
