Infinite control

Two new ranges of ac digital frequency inverters have been introduced by Demag Cranes & Components. The Dedrive Compact and the Dedrive Pro models have been designed to provide infinite control of variable speed drives in a wide variety of travel and hoisting applications. They combine smooth acceleration and deceleration rates with rapid and precise braking to ensure accuracy of movement, even in the most arduous environments. As the name suggests, the Dedrive Compact models are small, with a narrow footprint, and they are housed in an attractive enclosure. The range comprises inverters with motor outputs from 0.75 to 18.5kW. They are designed for simple operation and may be programmed via a pc interface or directly by the integral control panel and user-friendly led. For heavy duty use, the Dedrive Pro line comprises models with motor outputs from 3 to 490kW.
