Rapid charge
January 1st 2006

The Morven BCM series from VxI Power is a new range of threestage cyclic chargers for 12 and 24V lead-acid battery systems.

Units are designed to provide safe, rapid charging and are suited to industrial applications. Simple to operate, they feature automatic changeover from boost charge to float charge and have an internal diode splitter that allows independent charging of up to three batteries.

Three 12V models have charging currents of 15, 30 or 50A, while the four 24V models have charging currents of 8, 15, 25 or 50A. Units operate from an input voltage of 180-270VAC.
