RFID version
January 1st 2005

An RFID version of Weber Marking Systems’ 5200 series printer-applicator features an integrated system that can print, encode, verify and apply pressure-sensitive RFID smart labels to cartons and pallet loads in one operation.

The new 5200rfid offers a selection of print engines that use thermal-transfer technology to produce smart labels with text, barcodes and graphics at 203dpi.

As labels are printed, digital information is instantly encoded onto thin, ultra-high frequency tags that are embedded in the smart label material. Encoded data is verified immediately by the system and the label applied to the top or side of a carton or pallet load.
