Sato UK has upgraded its MB2000 series portable label printer to make it faster and more robust with a longer battery life.

The new MB200i measures 130mm wide, 76mm deep and 90mm high and weighs just 395g. A lightweight case allows it to be carried comfortably over the shoulder or attached to a belt. A new style battery prints twice as many labels as the original MB200 models. An optional charger accommodates five batteries.

Sato says print speeds are the fastest in their class – up to 103mm/sec, yet the printer is quiet in operation. It takes a 67mm dia roll of labels and these are said to be quicker and easier to load.
